2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, let not this one thing be hidden from you, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
This passage expresses the time Yehovah has allotted to mankind in terms of a ‘seven day week’. Notice it says that one day is AS a thousand years. It does not say each millennial day is in fact exactly one thousand years in length.
In Scripture, “Time” is laid out in 49-year increments called Jubilee cycles. The first Jubilee cycle of 49 years in the first Millennial Day includes years 1-49. The second cycle would then begin with year 50 and last 49 years, therefore ending in year 98. Each Millennial Day consists of 20 Jubilee cycles, which is 980 years.
We are currently in the final Jubilee cycle of the 6th Millennial Day, which would be the 120th Jubilee cycle overall. (20 x 6 = 120) The 7th Millennial Day represents the Millennial Kingdom of Rest. The 8th Millennial Day, represents the beginning of eternity, where time ceases.
