The Sabbatical Year – When you come into the Land – Really?

We read in Luke chapter 6 of Yehshua declaring the Sabbatical year in 28 C.E. and then we read of them eating the standing grain which had not been harvested.  

This is because it was a Sabbatical year.  

Luke 4:16  And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And, as His custom was, He went in to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.17  And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And unrolling the book, He found the place where it was written,18  “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me; because of this He has anointed Me to proclaim the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and new sight to the blind, to set at liberty those having been crushed,19  to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”20  And rolling up the book, returning it to the attendant, He sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on Him.21  And He began to say to them, Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears. Luke 6:1  And it happened on the second chief Sabbath, He went through the grain fields. And His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate, rubbing them in their hands.  

Should we keep the Sabbatical year or do we prostitute our daughters?  

It has been brewing in me for some time. It frustrates me each time someone says it; those who say the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles are only for “when we are in the land.”  With that, they then dismiss the entire teaching of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. These so called “brethren” do the exact same thing the Christians do when they say they are “saved by grace” and do not have to do anything to obey Yehovah or even the SDA who say they keep the Sabbath, but the Holy Days were “nailed to the cross.” Every one and I mean every one of the  Hebrew Roots people, either brethren or teachers who say they do not have to keep the Sabbatical years because of what it says in Lev 25 is a Hypocrite.  

Leviticus 25:2 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a Sabbath to Jehovah.  

They are speaking out both sides of their mouth and are doing the work of Satan; either knowingly or unknowingly, they are causing those who listen to their teachings on this to sin.  

Matthew 15:12 Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?13 But He answered and said, Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.14 Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Luke 6:39 And He spoke a parable to them: Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?  

Those of you following them in this ignorance are also going to go into the ditch. It is time you began to think for yourself! Do your own study and know; stop following those leaders who cannot read their own Bibles nor understand what is written there in plain language.  

When you read Lev 25:2 it is talking about a Jubilee year. That is prostitute (1) the first thing you should know. So even if I were to concede this  point- that it is only applicable “in The Land of Israel”- ( WHICH I  AM NOT) then the year that it would be addressing as for “only in the land” would be a Jubilee year. The Sabbatical Years were already being kept by the Nation of Israel before they ever set foot “in the Land” and they were still in the Wilderness!  

Exodus 21:2 If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years. And in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

Exodus 23:10 And you shall sow your land six years, and shall gather in the fruits of it. 11 But the seventh year you shall let it rest and let it alone, so that the poor of your people may eat. And what they leave, the animals of the field shall eat. In the same way you shall deal with your vineyard and with your olive yard.  

In all three of these Scriptures the Israelites were still at Mount Sinai. This was, at the most, only two years after the Exodus and here THEY ARE NOT IN THE LAND and yet they are keeping the laws of the Sabbatical year of rest. They had not yet crossed the Jordan River. But explaining this to the Messianic leadership does not seem to matter. They still go back to their catch phrase of “When you come into the land it shall have a Sabbath rest…”  They then go on to say that “since we are not ‘in the Land’ we do not have to keep this law!”  

Does anyone understand the seriousness of this teaching on the Suzerain Treaty? It is what Israel, the Vassel (or “lesser”) King agreed to do with Yehovah the Suzerain (or “Superior”) King at Mount Sinai, when they said they would obey the covenant Yehovah had laid out for them. This was a blood covenant. What is the penalty for disobedience to this agreement? If one of the parties breaks this covenant, it meant death to that party. In my studies of this subject that is what is about to happen to the USA and UK nations because they are the guilty party; having broken this agreement. Israel was kicked out of the land for all their sins and Judah was also! One Scripture in particular mentions this. It is found in 2 Chronicles:  

2 Chronicles 36:19 And they burned the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all the palaces of it with fire, and destroyed all its beautiful vessels.20 And the ones who had escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia, 21 to fulfill the Word of Jehovah in the mouth of  Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days of the desolation it kept the Sabbath, to the full measure of seventy years.  

Yes, but ‘WE ARE NOT IN THE LAND’ these people will retort! It says as plain as day “When You come into the Land!” Therefore, because we are not in the land, we do not have to keep this law. Hypocrites, ignorant of what the Scriptures say; and yet they assume they are eligible to teach. Indeed, the blind leading the blind. Blind fools leading others to destruction.  

“When You come into the land…”  

We read in Leviticus chapter 19 something you should  all be aware of. Let us, for arguments sake, say these hypocrites are correct. Because we are  not “in the land” you do not have to keep the Sabbatical year. And, once again, they have based their erroneous understanding upon the phrase “when you come into the land.” So when we read in Lev 19 the following;  

Leviticus 19:23 And when you shall come into the land,  

This means that we do not have to keep what follows because we are not in the land. So now, using the same hypocritical logic they are using, I am going to make the same argument all your messed up Messianic leaders and their blind followers are using. If it applies for one Scripture, it applies for ALL, right?  

Leviticus 19:26 You shall not eat anything with the blood. You shall not divine, nor conjure spirits.  

Okay. So here, using their argument of “we are not in the land” of Israel, does this mean we can now eat things with the blood in it? We can now divine and conjure up spirits?  It only applies when we are “in the land,” right? So, since we are not “in the land,” we can eat blood and conjure up spirits? We can use divination? Really? REALLY? Also, because we are not “in the land” we can mar the corners of our beards for the dead… because we are not in the land it does not matter what we do, using their “logic.”  

Lev 19:27 You shall not round the side of your head, nor mar the edge of your beard.  

Again because we are not “in the land” we can cut ourselves as we mourn for the dead. We can get as many tattoos as we want? We are not “in the land” so we are free to do want ever we want, right? It only applies if we are “in the land!”  

This is what your “teachers” are teaching you! Do YOU agree? I am using the same lame arguments these hypocritical leaders use to justify not keeping the Sabbatical year.

Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks on you.  

I am Yehovah.  

Now, because “WE ARE NOT IN THE  LAND,” we are, according to Leviticus chapter 19, free to go ahead and prostitute our daughters as well!  Which also means we are free to hire them out and use them as much as we want. We only have to obey this law “IF” we are in the land, and because we are not in the land, we get our sex from anyone we want. Amsterdam has this Red Light district and they seem to have figured out this law already.  

Lev 19:29 You shall not prostitute your daughter, to cause her to be a whore, lest the land go whoring, and the land become full of wickedness.  

Again using the same ridiculous logic of your messed-up messianic leadership, that says we do not have to keep the Sabbatical year because we are not Prostitution RLD  in the land, we are then free to prostitute all of our  daughters and put them in the front windows of our homes, advertising their availability. Dad can collect the money from the people that come through the door. Is this really what we believe we can do?  

Here is the one the Christians should use when the Messianic’s try to tell them they should keep the Sabbath! Because we are not in the land of Israel, we do not have to keep the Sabbaths. We only have to keep them when we go to the land of Israel, as these verses specify:  

Lev 19:30 You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary. I am Jehovah.  

Lev 19:31 You shall not turn to mediums, and you shall not seek to spirit-knowers to be defiled by them. I am Jehovah your God.  

Do you get it yet, brethren? Have I made my point? The argument presented by YOUR MESSIANIC LEADERSHIP is hypocritical. They say you should keep the Torah but then they tell you that you do not have to keep the Torah except for when you are in the land. Either confront them and show them their errors or stop following their teachings and leave them high and dry. As the Suzerain treaty says: the penalty for not obeying is death. Death to you, your spouse, your children and grandchildren. None of you are ready to watch your loved ones die; but unless you repent soon and prepare to keep the next Sabbatical year in 2016, you will see them die, if indeed war and captivity come in this Sabbatical cycle as we expect. The next Sabbatical year is in 2023, after the sword has come upon the western nations where the 12 tribes of Judah have migrated.
